Holiday Celebrations

Does anyone else feel like Christmas just ends so abruptly?? We spend months and months preparing for this holiday and then all in the matter of a day it's just over haha.

This Christmas and New Years was an absolute blast!!! We spent Christmas up at my parents place in Drayton Valley, which I am super happy it was my families year because apparently there was very little snow down south. I LOVE a snowy Christmas. Love it. We spent last year in Hawaii and it just didn't feel like the holidays without the snow. It was just weird.

There were a lot of 'firsts' this Christmas also. It was baby Aurora's FIRST CHRISTMAS and she was spoiled! She loved every minute of it. She's going to be quite the princess haha. This year was also there first real taste of snow. We came back when Ben was 10 months but we didn't really go outside or let him play in the snow. Ben is still amazed at this kind of weather. So what better way to introduce it to them then by sledding!!! Which he absolutely LOVED! As you will be able to tell by the pictures.

I love spending time with family. It's my favourite thing. This year my Mom put together an 'Amazing Race' on Christmas Day and it was so fun!! Becca and I were paired together and we were on our toes the whole time. The challenges were exciting and tough and it just made the day even more eventful.

For New Years we came back to Lethbridge to celebrate. We kept it pretty low key this year which was really nice after a busy and lovely Christmas. We played games, ate some food and just talked about life. We had friends and family over for most of the night and celebrated the Count Down with Matt and Tiff. And what better way to celebrate the coming of the new year than with SPARKLERS!! ....and a really sparkly hat ;)

Also, If you don't know this about me, I love to make 'home movies'. You can check out all of the HERE.

This year I made a Christmas and New Year video and it was so fun to make! It captured so many great memories and I love being able to look back on them. Click on the link below to view my Christmas 2014 Home Movie :)

I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday and have a great weekend!!

XOXO
